Sogefi is celebrating after discovering that eight of the top ten best selling European cars in 2011 all feature its products.

Europe’s best selling car, the Volkswagen Golf VI, features rear stabiliser bars and front coil springs made by Sogefi.

The brand has particular significance for the Peugeot 207, which takes its oil, diesel and air filtration systems, low pressure and charger air systems, thermostat housing, front stabiliser bars and front coil springs from the company.

Sogefi says that while it continues to celebrate these OEM contracts, all its parts are available to the independent aftermarket through the Purflux, Fram, CoopersFiaam and Tecnocar brands.

General Manager of the Sogefi Aftermarket Division Andrea Taschini said: “We are very proud that Sogefi’s pioneering technologies are being selected as original equipment for the best-selling cars in Europe.

“These are cars that are sold to millions of drivers, and that must deliver tens of thousands of kilometres of trouble-free driving each year, so there is no room for error.  This is a real testament to the outstanding quality, reliability and environmental credentials of Sogefi’s filter and suspension products.”
