Trade sold on lifetime clutch guarantee, says QH

Quinton Hazell has reported an increase in take-up of its lifetime clutch guarantee scheme.

Registrations of 3 in 1 kits have grown year on year, and QH reckons that sales this year will outperform expectations.

The company believes that the scheme has benefited in recent months from the temporary reduction in VAT. The rate is set to revert back to 15.5 percent on December 31, 2009.

Len Finlay, QH’s product manager for clutches said: “Whether it’s the drop in VAT or word of mouth about the scheme, we’re pleased to report a month on month, year on year increase in registrations for the lifetime guarantee.

“Many garages build the cost into the final fitting price of the clutch, ensuring customers receive the best possible clutch for their vehicle at the best possible price.  Then it’s worry free motoring for them as far as the clutch is concerned.”
