Unipart Automotive has named a new CEO.

Mark Dixon, formerly of Wyko and Eriks UK will join the company as CEO as of September. Dixon’s appointment will coincide with Unipart Automotive’s head office move to Bicester from its current location in Cowley.

Previously, Dixon was responsible for a B2B branch network within the UK, managing 200 branches, over 2000 employees and a turnover of some £300 million.

A statement from Unipart Automotive confirms that Dixon will: “assume responsibility for the management team and the company’s vision for the future.”

H2 Equity Partners has confirmed it will continue its involvement in the business. Patrick Kalverboer will remain as Chairman after he hands over the reigns to Dixon.

Kalverboer commented: “Mark’s exceptional record in multiple site distribution operations and his strategic pedigree will ensure Unipart Automotive remains at the forefront of the UK’s automotive car parts industry.

“By aligning his appointment with the move to Bicester, he and the management team will be able to drive the business forward at an exciting time for the company.”
