Countdown to IAAF conference and dinner begins

This year will see a number of firsts at the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation’s annual conference and dinner. For the first time the event will not be held at the Hilton Metropole, but the ICC in Birmingham, which was chosen due its travel versatility and array of accommodation options

Automechanika Frankfurt’s green directory announced

Twenty-five companies exhibiting at Automechanika Frankfurt have been listed in the Green Directory, out of 44 applicants. The announcement also saw Robert Bosch GmbH win special recognition for scoring the highest score in the competition, for its system of remanufacturing electronic automotive components

IAAF URGES TRADE TO AIR VIEWS ABOUT ACCESS TO VM PARTS DATA

Claiming all your allowable expenses

Working out what to claim and what not to claim can be like walking on a tightrope with potentially painful consequences if you slip. Tax can be an absolute minefield and ensuring that the correct income is declared is vital. However, the matter of what can be expensed is open to interpretation and misunderstanding. On the one hand you don’t want to miss out on valuable reliefs, yet on the other, you’ll not want to mistakenly claim for something that isn’t allowable and possibly give HMRC an excuse to conduct an investigation into your affairs
