Draper Tools has launched its second-generation Dual Lens Endoscope Inspection Camera, offering workshops an upgraded diagnostic tool designed to simplify visual checks in hard-to-reach areas.
Priced at £64.99 (RRP), the new model builds on the manufacturer's original design by introducing a dual-lens probe. This features both forward-facing and side-facing cameras, allowing technicians to inspect engine cavities, internal passages and restricted spaces without the need for extensive dismantling.
Draper says that it has reduced the probe diameter from 8mm to 5.5mm in response to customer demand. This slimmer profile, combined with a 5-metre semi-rigid cable and eight adjustable LEDs, delivers clear 1080P imaging in confined areas such as coolant passages and valve gear.
For documentation and reporting, the unit includes a micro SD card slot supporting cards up to 32GB. This enables technicians to capture still images and video directly on the device for customer records or specialist consultation, operating independently of external wi-fi connections or smartphone applications.
Powered by a USB-C rechargeable lithium-ion battery providing up to three hours of continuous use, the camera features a waterproof probe suited for wet or submerged applications. The package also includes a protective storage bag alongside standard hook, magnet and mirror attachments.
The unit is available now through the Draper Tools network.
