Since 2014, all new vehicles within the EU must be equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Bosch universal sensors for TPMS measure the air pressure directly on the vehicle’s tyres and transmit it reliably by radio to the control unit in real time. Continuous monitoring of the tyre pressure prevents unnoticed pressure deviations and thus makes an important contribution to road safety. Adherence to the recommended tyre pressure also ensures optimised fuel consumption and reduced tyre wear.

Bosch universal sensors for TPMS has over 90% vehicle coverage with only four-part numbers and universal programmability. Available in rubber and steel versions, matching the steel and aluminium rims. Bosch conducts function and quality tests for the sensors according to the same standards as original equipment: for high reliability and safe journeys.

For easy and safe commissioning, Bosch recommends using the Bosch programming tool TPA 300. In combination with its technical support, Bosch offers a complete solution that enables workshops the diagnosis, removal, and installation as well as the commissioning of spare parts.
