But who and what is JRP? Based in the South East of England, it is a family owned business founded in 1981. For almost 40 years, JRP Distribution has been a leading distributor of 
branded automotive products into the aftermarket.
From humble roots selling automotive and allied products throughout the South East of England under the Tecniks brand, the company experienced steady regional growth throughout the 80’s and 90’s. It was however in 2001, on gaining the exclusive UK distribution of Pacer Technology products, that JRP Distribution could establish itself as a national distributor. Since 2001 the company has grown substantially year on year adding new brands on an exclusive basis to its portfolio and developing its own Simply branded range of products through its sister company Simply Brands Asia Ltd. This year is no different with the addition of exclusive brands such as Petronas, Durance and Svitol, as well as the launch of Simply Sanitize products and over 50 new competitively priced Simply Brands automotive products. In addition we acquired Autobar at the beginning of the year, to complement and enhance our existing consumables range, and to which we have dedicated its own Autobar catalogue.
We are now fully settled into our brand-new purpose-built facility in Chichester, West Sussex. It’s been a busy year with an acquisition, new brands and completing our move, but it is all part of our continued commitment to our future growth, product offering and service. We look forward to serving you in the year ahead.
