COLDWORK™ GLOVES COMING TO UK

ADVERTISING PROMOTION FOR MECHANIX WEAR COLDWORK

Mechanix Wear’s new ColdWork Series offers working hands a range of cold weather protection from lightweight fleece solutions to heavyweight Primaloft® and 3M Thinsulate combinations. The next generation of the ColdWork has 8 new models, including the ColdWork Guide, a light-weight fleece, touchscreen capable glove perfect for any winter adventure, and the ColdWork Peak, constructed with a water repellent SoftShell outer including a rugged 5mm padded knuckle for impact protection while you work.

With the new ColdWork Series, Mechanix Wear set out to fill a gap in the market for high-performance cold weather gloves and is coming to the UK with the most advanced thermal gloves available today.  To do this, Mechanix Wear leveraged the protective power of 3 advanced insulation technologies, Primaloft®, 3M Thinsulate and Durahide Leather, to deliver:

  • Performance insulation designed to trap warm air and regulate body temperature with a high warmth-to-weight ratio to reduce bulk.
  • Synthetic insulation allowing moisture to escape and trap warmth to prevent heat loss.
  • No risk of mould or mildew.

“Our new ColdWork line provides the perfect protection to working hands when the mercury drops,” stated Georgia Hooper, Country Sales Manager for UK & Ireland.  “ColdWork is an amalgamation of design, technology, field testing, and some innovative thinking – what Mechanix Wear is known for best!”

  1. So they spent a lot of money on advertising and grabbed my attention. We distribute cleaning products to the motor trade and thought these gloves might be a useful add-on. But, try as I might, there is no UK distributor and the UK company directed me to their Spanish supplier. They might be coming to the UK, but no yet!
