Use our Lub Advisor tool to find the right oil, or view our Quartz range on our online catalogue.

Ahead of its time through smart design

With the Quartz Xtra range, we aim to reduce the use of plastic by using better alternatives meaning recycled content and recyclable plastics. HDPE (High-density polyethylene) is the most common type of plastic with a high strength-to-density ratio. Generally used to make different types of bottles and containers, HDPE is also the main component of our cans of lubricants.

Becoming the responsible energy major

With the Company’s objective of becoming the responsible energy major of its era in mind, TotalEnergies Lubrifiants is committed to using more sustainable plastic for HDPE bottles of lubricants, in order to reduce the use of virgin plastic and to support the creation of a circular economy for plastic.

These HDPE bottles can be 100% recycled many times and further processed under controlled conditions. Waste materials are recycled into secondary raw materials without changing the basic structure of the material. The recycled resins come from a recycling unit where the waste is ground, sorted, and transformed into platinum granules (recycled plastic). These recycled granules represent 50% of our innovative packaging.
