AAG makes two acquisitions in Northern Ireland

Alliance Automotive Group UK has announced that it has recently acquired of MacAutoparts Ltd and Antrim Autoparts Ltd. The deals were completed on the same day.

Established in 2002, MacAutoparts Ltd (MAL) is a long-standing member of Groupauto in the UK, with three branches based in Belfast, Carnmoney and Mullusk, becoming one of the first store acquisitions in Northern Ireland alongside Antrim Autoparts Ltd.

Mac Autoparts has five branches

Antrim Autoparts is also a member of Groupauto in the UK and operate two stores in Antrim and Ballyclare, Northern Ireland. Following the acquisition of J&S in August 2021 with its locations in the north and republic of Ireland, the acquisition of Mac and Antrim represents a great opportunity to expand AAG’s network into Northern Ireland using the benefits and logistics associated with the J&S warehouse in Omagh.
