AUTOMECHANIKA FRANKFURT TO TAKE PLACE AS ‘HYBRID’ EVENT

Organisers of the delayed Automechanika Frankfurt exhibition have confirmed that it will take place physically in September as planned, but it will also have an emphasis on virtual meetings for people who are unable or unwilling to travel to Frankfurt.

Such a format is referred to in the meetings industry as a ‘hybrid’, and various digital features will be made available to all  exhibitors.

Michael Johannes, Brand Manager of Automechanika said: “We want to bring industry players from different countries and continents together – be it live in Frankfurt or virtually from afar – to satisfy their need to network. Based on the good experience we’ve had over the past six months providing digital services for our customers not only in German-speaking countries, but also in Russia, Dubai, Shanghai and beyond, we have decided to hold Automechanika Frankfurt as a hybrid event.”

The Frankfurt showground will reopen its gates for the first time in over a year in June when it hosts an event called ‘Indoor Air’, which – fittingly given the current situation – is a programme for HVAC professionals focussing on the quality of ventilation in commercial buildings.

Automechanika will take place 14-18 September 2021.
