Following the recent announcement regarding the repositioning of Automechanika Frankfurt from September 2021 to September 2022, Messe Frankfurt UK has taken the decision to set new dates for Automechanika Birmingham which will now run in 2023.

Automechanika Birmingham, last held in 2019, will now take place in 2023.

Show organisers have issued the following statement:

“Following discussions with our customers, the wider UK market and receiving full support, the new dates for Automechanika Birmingham are 6 – 8th June 2023, NEC, Birmingham. The show will then return to its biennial frequency, alternating years with Automechanika Frankfurt. Whilst we have not been able to host Automechanika Birmingham in recent times, we thoroughly look forward to gathering the UK automotive industry once again in 2023 and hope that you’ll join us”.

“During our conversations with the market, we have received strong interest from tool and equipment suppliers, manufacturers, garages and bodyshops for a face-to-face event to take place sooner than 2023.  Therefore, we have listened and will soon be revealing exciting plans for a specialist garage and bodyshop event in 2022”.

The last Birmingham show was held in 2019, meaning there will have been a four-year gap between UK events by the time the exhibition takes place in 2023.
