ECP DIRECTOR: ‘HUGE INCREASE IN DEMAND FOR MOT-RELATED EQUIPMENT’

Reversing the idea that garage trade businesses have postponed capital investment, Adam White, Workshop Solutions Director at LKQ Euro Car Parts has noted that orders for test lane upgrades have actually increased.

“We’ve seen a huge increase in demand for MOT-related equipment as customers adapt to the post-lockdown demand curve, and we’re committed to helping them make the most of this opportunity after a summer of disruption” he said.

Over the last decade ECP’s Workshop Solutions division has become the UK’s main distributor of BendPak lifts. More recently, the firm became a distributor of Milwaukee power tools and it now claims to be the UK’s largest dedicated distributor of these products.
