EUROREPAR URGES OUTLETS TO ACCEPT ALL MAKES

Bosses of the VM-owned Eurorepar car service network is urging members that are part of a dealer group or in its Authorised Service Network to start fixing all makes, rather than just historic PSA brands.

Independent garages as well as workshops that are part of a car sales franchise as well as workshops that are directly owned by the parent company have joined the ‘soft-franchise’ model, and it is these latter two groups that the network wants to encourage to bring in other brands of vehicles.

Nick Taylor, Head of Network & Business Development at Eurorepar Car Service, said: “As we’ve seen over the last few years, the way customers finance, run and service their cars is changing. Retailers and repairers need to remain in tune with these trends and ensure their    offering continues to meet drivers’ needs”.

The network is also keen to encourage repairers to use aftermarket parts from Distrigo. Parts Operations Director Andy Robson told CAT in the Winter issue “I’d have to say that [franchise workshops and authorised repairers] are very traditionalist in terms of using OE parts, where an independent garage might look at it differently”.

Eurorepar and parts distribution arm Distrigo are owned by Stellantis, a new entity formed following the merger of PSA Groupe and Fiat Chrysler.
