Exol receives first approval from BMW

Lubricant blender Exol has a new approval from BMW for its Optima C5 LSOV 0W-20 (M520) oil.

This lubricant is designed for use in the latest BMW petrol engines and light duty diesel engines with petrol or diesel particulate filters.

It is a low SAPS specification with low HTHS viscosity requirements.

The specification is an ideal choice in hot running engines where its prevention of deposits keeps turbochargers in optimum condition and its carefully controlled SAPS levels protect after-treatment systems including petrol particulate filters.
