Halfords are promoting ‘free’ MOT tests at its Autocentre sites.

‘Free’ MOT test promo started at the end of lockdown

Customers that buy any product from the chain’s retail stores will be eligible, so in theory a customer buying a £1.99 air freshener could take advantage of the offer.

The deal came into effect on March 29, exactly one year after the MOT extension was introduced and runs until April 19. This covers a period that most analysts suggest will be quiet for garages of all types.
