Leamoco and M1 acquired by AAG

Alliance Automotive Group UK has announced that it has recently completed the acquisition of two more motor factor businesses, Leamoco and M1.

Trading since 1984, Leamoco, a former IFA member operates from five stores – Leamington Spa, Stratford, Evesham Banbury a Bicester with sales of £11.0m and 90 employees.

The company was founded by Tim Whittaker and Peter Newport who saw a gap in the market while working at Partco.

AAG has also acquired M1 Motorparts, a single branch Groupauto member based in Leeds. The business was incorporated in 1982 and had been under the present management since 2002.  It had sales of £1.5m and 11 employees.

The latest deals take the number of acquired businesses by the UK group to five in 2022. It has also made significant gains on the Continent, including Knoll Holdings.
