MOVERS: COLIN PARLETT LEAVES RMI BOARD

After more than 30 years of service, Colin Parlett has stepped down from the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) Board.

Last month it was announced that Parlett was to resign as Independent Garage Assoc. Chair, his role within the IMI. He has been succeeded by Rob Collison in the IGA post.

Peter Johnson, RMI Chairman said, “During the period Colin has been on the board, he has worked tirelessly to improve and grow the federation and its associations.

“Colin has demonstrated his commitment and loyalty to the RMI, often putting the needs of his own business behind those of the federation.  He has sat on numerous committees and been RMI chairman on three occasions, and for this he was presented with the RMI honorary membership award in 2017.
