Movers: Senior appointments at Shaftec

Adrian Kitchen and Jim Harvey have joined Midland-based Shaftec as Marketing Manager and Purchasing Manager, respectively. Both will report to Chief Financial Officer and General Manager, Mitesh Thanki.

Both men are highly experienced in the aftermarket. Jim Harvey spent around 20 years with GSF Car Parts, over 15 of which were in Asia as Purchasing Manager. He joins Shaftec after a stint at Heritage Parts Centre.

Adrian Kitchen has spent his whole career in the aftermarket, most recently at the ill-fated Remy Automotive UK. However, he will be best known for his years of service at Apec Braking as Marketing Manager, where he joined in 2007 from FAI Automotive where he held a similar role.
