Nissan Motor UK is to sell West Way, the dealer group that it owns.
All thirteen sites under the West Way brand are to be sold off, with nine going to to an as-yet unnamed buyer. Locations at Aldershot and Basingstoke are being sold to existing franchise holder Yeomans, while Mill Hill has reportedly been acquired by Glyn Hopkin.

Interestingly, Nissan’s famous brutalist design studio located on Westway in London (and where CAT believes the West Way name came from) is not part of the group, so does not form part of the sell off.
The move is interesting as several VMs are reducing the number of franchised outlets and increasing a direct sales ‘agency’ model, where Nissan appears to be doing the opposite.
