OBITUARY: STEVE FISHER 1956-2021

We report with sadness that Steve Fisher, Managing Director at Apec, died on Wednesday 17th March after a short, but difficult, battle with COVID-19.

Fisher started work at Apec Braking around 1990, working in sales. When the firm was acquired by Lookers in 2005 he was promoted  to Director and General Manager. As a popular and well-respected figure in the industry, he will be missed by all who knew and worked with him.

Steve Richardson, Managing Director of Alliance Automotive Group said:

“A true gentleman, universally liked by those of us who knew him, we were honoured to have him as part of the AAG team. We will be forever grateful for the contribution he made to our business and to each of us individually. His spirit will remain with us as we continue to grow and develop Apec in a way he would be proud of. We’ll miss you Steve, rest in peace”.

  1. So very sorry to hear of Steve’s passing, I worked with him from his first day at APEC until my retirement in 2012. He was a true gent and will be very sadly missed.

  2. So sad to hear about the death of a really nice guy , Steve was a good business man but his popularity went above just business , he was a gentleman and will be greatly missed .
