TecDoc has combined its operations with software specialist Fuse5 to create a cloud-based version of its data.
The new partnership will see all the data information held online and easily accessible, as both companies aim to keep up with the evolving world of technology.
Moving to a cloud-based solution will increase business efficiency by allowing customers of TecDoc to choose elements they want to include in their system package.
Shaun Greasley, Commercial Director for UK and Ireland at TecDoc said: “The market continues to evolve and Fuse5 brings a new and exciting alternative to the traditional system providers as they understand that many users want to choose the parts cataloguing system that they use, rather than having to use one that comes with the system.
“Irrespective of how advanced the system or the amount of paperless transactions and business interrogation it is able to undertake, it has to incorporate accurate parts data and reliable cataloguing to really deliver for businesses needing to ensure the correct parts are identified, sourced and supplied to their customers.”
It will be built on a similar platform as Google, Facebook and Amazon, which means it will seamlessly work with existing hardware and with the cloud network.
This announcement comes at the same time that Autodata has launched its new fully online software that allows garages to store all of their data, and to access up-to-date from its data. Read more about the new upgrade here.
