AAG makes acquisitions outside of own network

Alliance Automotive Group has announced that it has recently completed the acquisition of two motor factor businesses that are not part of the company’s own buying group networks.

Direct Auto Parts is a single branch motor factor business based in Barking, Essex, with sales of c£2.6m and 13 employees. Founded by Michael Bushnell in 1991, it had been an existing member of the PDP buying group for many years.

Car Parts Warehouse is a single branch LV business based in Galway, Republic of Ireland, with sales of c€1.7m and seven employees. It is an independent factor and accessory retailer and not affiliated with any trading group.
