CONTINENTAL CONSIDERING SELLING PARTS OF THE BUSINESS, SAYS REPORT

Continental AG is considering selling parts of the group, according a report in a business magazine.

The report, in German-language Manager Magazin indicates that talks are already underway to sell parts of ContiTech and the rubber technologies division as part of a wider programme to cut costs across the business.

In September, Continental announced that it is to wind down and eventually close it’s tyre factory in Aachen, Germany with the loss of around 1,800 jobs.
