First Brands acquires Pylon

First Brands has acquired Florida-based Pylon Manufacturing.

Terms have not been released, and as of the time of writing, no statement has been made by either party. However, the deal was made public at Automechanika, with the Pylon stand proudly displaying the First Brands logo.

In the UK and Europe, Pylon licences the Michelin brand name for its wiper products and is distributed by Qualitor Automotive.

First Brands is the holding company for a number of well-known products, including Trico wiper blades, Airtex suspension and the soon-to-be-relaunched Autolite spark plugs.
